GrillRoom is a voice-native, adversarial AI pitch simulation platform designed to stress-test startup ideas before they ever reach a real boardroom. Founders pitch out loud and a panel of AI investors interrogates them in real time, pulling live web and news evidence on existing competitors, recent funding rounds, and startups that already failed doing the same thing, then throwing it back as blunt, evidence-backed takedowns.
The voice pipeline runs entirely on ElevenLabs Agents, handling speech-to-text, LLM reasoning, text-to-speech, turn-taking, and tool orchestration in a single session. Live search is powered by Firecrawl, wired into the agent as a webhook and constrained to the past 12 months across targeted competitor, funding, and graveyard queries. The tight context window is intentional, giving the agent precisely the right amount of evidence rather than drowning it. At the end of every session, founders can download a PDF Case File containing the full verdict and every cited source.
